keggers Posted February 16, 2007 Share Posted February 16, 2007 Unfortunately this took me two re-installs to figure out. The kernel_task runs at 100% after installing application enhancer which comes as part of mighty mouse and shapeshifter and lots of others I'm sure. You can disable application enhancer in the system pref pane for it temporaily to see if it fixes it for you. I guess it runs on rosetta so that kinda explains it...
