Karakino
Hello guys. I'm having some trouble to make this pci wireless card work... In this page ( http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=233494 ) i've found a solution for it, but it uses the old 10.4.5 IO80211Family.kext. There is out there some1 that have found a way to make it work with the latest Apple Airport update 2007-01? Thanx in advance boys, you're the best around. Karakino
simple answer is the lastest apple airport doesnt support it you have to use the old one. (why do you want to use the new one doesnt work for you?) Really? I didn't know that that chip was incompatible with the latest update from Apple... But... There is hope that someday the support will be present with some patch of some sort, maybe made by someone "outside" of Apple like someone did with the titan/natit solution for OpenGL for NVidia? I keep my fingers crossed... :pirate2: Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42377-about-netgear-wg311t-wireless-pci-card/#findComment-302839 Share on other sites

lancelotu
I have also a WG311t FROM netgear .... Does someone knows if this card work also on powermac G5 with leopard, or only on hackintoshes? ... I have it working on a hackintosh with 10.5.6 and used to have orange driver in 10.3 with an MDD powermac G4 but orangedriver doesn't work in leopard so I was wondering if someone used this card as Airport in a powermac G5 .
