Kinetrope
Ok, i'm a bit confused. Parallels website referes that you need VT. E4300 hasn't VT, but websites report that you can use Parallels even if you don't have a VT cpu (eg. hackintosh). What do you know about that? Is there somebody who tried parallels with a E4300? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42245-parallels-and-e4300/ Share on other sites
asap18
you don't need it, but the vt-x technology significantly improves the performance of the virtual machine. With the 4300 it'll just run slower. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42245-parallels-and-e4300/#findComment-302192 Share on other sites

Thanks Confirmed. Running Parallels in Leopard on e4300 & e4400. Overclocking more than makes up for drop in performance. I'm running the e4300 @ 2.69 Ghz Have Fun!
