renegadeandy
ok doing the normal adding to grub for mac osx failed --- with the exact error stated on the wiki pages HFS+ Partition error, so i follow the next steps: If you have an "HFS+ partition error", copy all the files from /usr/standalone/i386 of the Darwin CD to a partition in NTFS, FAT or ext but not hfs on your hard disk, and put this in menu.lst : title OSX_X86 rootnoverify (hd0,2) <- replace hd0,2 by the partition where you have copied chainloader files. makeactive chainloader /chain0 So i have done that - yet now it still says error loading parttition. What can i do!? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42159-grub-bootloader-line/#findComment-303212 Share on other sites
cbmkgd
show us how what partitions you have on your drive, what type (primary, logical) and with which os on it.
