De-Rail
Something very peculiar is going on. I've got a Dell Wireless 1390 card (Broadcom chipset) on the first reboot after the install, the setup wizard asked me for my Wifi credentials. My card connected fine, and I was online. However, after using the HDA patcher for my Sigmatel 9200, and rebooted, the wireless is not detected. I plugged in to my ethernet port and that is not working either. My settings are all correct. I'm not sure if networking is completely borked because of the patch that was applied, or for another reason. Thanks for your help Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/41646-dell-wireless-1390-and-networking/ Share on other sites
runwitmeeh
I'm having the same exact problem. Though it acted up before the HDA. I've been searching through these message boards and i thought i was the only one that had this problem. I tried replacing the kexts with old ones and that didn't work. It all worked fine before i upgraded to 10.4.8...what gives?? De-Rail
Unfortunately I don't have access to the older kexts so I can't try that at the moment. If you have another solution that could be tried, it would be greatly appreciated! EDIT- All Right!!! Wireless is working now. Did the en0/en1 switch documented here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=8522 Thanks guys!!!!
