Zulu.Walker
Anyone using this on their Hac? I can trade in my Audigy2 ZS for this card for a bit more from a friend, still thinking as I haven't read anything about this yet. Apple HCL shows it is compatible though. This PCI audio card on a Hackintosh, possible?
karmatose
Dont go with it.. The driver support is terrible. M-Audio only has drivers for up to 10.4.4 i believe. Go with a Griffin Firewave.

Impossible, the mac with intel processor doesn't have PCI ports, in replace they have PCI xpress ports, because of this m-audio makes no drivers for intel processor (the hackintosh way) so, that's why this audiocards doesn't work with hackintosh (this is my case, I buy the Revolution 7.1 in replace of my Audigy DS and the m-audio card doesn't work ). Get a USB card. Saludos!

Is there one single internal card out there that has the quality of the analog stereo in the M-Audio Revolution 5.1 that works on a hackintosh? -- I don't particular want to get anything external unless there's no other choice

mtotho
RME HDSP 9632 works out of the box with RME's OSX drivers. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...80&start=80 seems pretty reasonable price. Just go with Creative external Soundblaster. If you want you can put it inside ur case, tape the out put section the i/o panel to make urself feel better.
