Anyone using this on their Hac? I can trade in my Audigy2 ZS for this card for a bit more from a friend, still thinking as I haven't read anything about this yet. Apple HCL shows it is compatible though. This PCI audio card on a Hackintosh, possible? :)

Impossible, the mac with intel processor doesn't have PCI ports, in replace they have PCI xpress ports, because of this m-audio makes no drivers for intel processor (the hackintosh way) so, that's why this audiocards doesn't work with hackintosh (this is my case, I buy the Revolution 7.1 in replace of my Audigy DS and the m-audio card doesn't work  ). Get a USB card. Saludos!

Is there one single internal card out there that has the quality of the analog stereo in the M-Audio Revolution 5.1 that works on a hackintosh? -- I don't particular want to get anything external unless there's no other choice :P

RME HDSP 9632 works out of the box with RME's OSX drivers.

seems pretty reasonable price.

Just go with Creative external Soundblaster. If you want you can put it inside ur case, tape the out put section the i/o panel to make urself feel better.
