Terasaka
Just wanted to note--Parallels works for Windows Vista Business (iMac 24", PowerBook Pro 15" and 17"). However, do NOT restart your computer if a setup program loaded .NET 1.1. Quickbooks Pro 2006 and 2007 both require .NET 1.1 to run the setup program. The problem is it appears to conflict with .NET 3.0, which is native to Vista. Everytime I would reload the VM, it would hang, and would be irreparable, even in Safe Mode. What I suggest is if you load software (such as QB), before restarting your computer, go into Programs, Remove, and Remove the .NET 1.1 that was loaded. This'll cure any hang up problems on reboot. Total of 20 hours figuring this stupid one out. Yay Mac! Boo Vista! (Stupid corporate software) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/41379-parallels-and-vista/ Share on other sites

You cannot expect an OS to function as well as native under A VM, can you?
