On my local news yesterday, the day that vista came out, they said they would have a live demonstration of windows vista. I thought that this might be good to watch, so i began to Tivo it as i left for school. I came back and watched the first one, nothing bad happened, but when the second one came on, something did. The guy opened IE 7 and it never opened, with the mouse having the spinning thing next to it. I was laughing so hard, eventually after about a minute they said that they would get back to it. then the anchor said that they may, "have a few things to work out"

:D

They had Gates in an interview on the Daily Show the evening before the official Vista launch date, Jan 29th. I couldn't help but smirk when Gates explained to Jon Stewart what the term "beta" means. He said, "well 'beta' means that the product has a few bugs and isn't suitable for wide-scale use yet. This new version of Vista is the final release. All bugs have been worked out."

But in the world of Windows, we all know that if that was true, we wouldn't need so many Service Pack releases. ;)
