geminijatt
hi, I have been searching the forums for days now with no luck. I installed the Generic-Tiger.iso and can get OS X to boot and everything but it is sooo slooww even after deleting the AppleTPM kext. I dun understand this. I have a CLEVO laptop P4M 1.8 Ghz and it is a SIS motherboard with embeded ethernet and sound. I cand work up the system specs but i dun quite know how under OS X as i am not running XP on the laptop. Also how long does the install usually take? For me i've installed it 3 times and all the times it has been verrry long it says 2 hours but it seems like more if there are any good tutorials on installin the Generic dvd please direct me to them or any other forums that are good i heard of this XBOX forum but could nto find it. mikael
well... i've read and applied this and gave me a huge speed boost: use finder and go to [hdd]/Library/Preferences/system configuration/ double-click on the com.apple.Boot.plist add "New Sibling" to root with: Propery: "platform" Value: "X86PC" quit, save, restart... ... u could also do this using the terminal... but this is the easyiest way!
