ranxeron
I need to edit my "com.apple.boot.plist" because my GUI is scrambeld after the reboot following the OS install process.(i have exactly the same poblems mike1979 describes in this topic) This is what I did to edit the file: 1. boot from install dvd until the terminal application is available 2. start terminal 3. goto "library/preferences/systemconfiguration" 4. typing sudo -s but get an "unknown command" respond 5. typing "pico com.apple.boot.plist" but also pico is an unkown command for my osX. Hmm? Is there an easier way to get a bash prompt than booting from DVD? Why is "sudo" and "pico" not supported?
