thestevo Posted January 30, 2007 Share Posted January 30, 2007 Your SATA controller is not being recognized by the installer. This doesn't mean that you can't get SATA to work on your machine at all. You might be able to install onto a PATA drive, get SATA working, and clone over to the SATA. Or, look closely for a PPF fix (or something) to the installation disc for your CHIPSET (not necessarily your motherboard, since I believe thats an Intel chipset board.) kiz Posted January 30, 2007 Share Posted January 30, 2007 Us x965 people cant get this to work, we have to come together to find a solution, maybe jas can help. i have the same issue and im using a pata hdd, its formated ntfs, i only have 1 IDE connector on my motherboard.
