I installed Mac OS X 10.4.7 form the Jas DVD. After that i installed the JaS 10.4.8 Update (Intel). After this I installed the Apple Mac OS X 10.4.8 Combined Update and did not reboot, but forced quit. After this I used an updater that prasys gave to me, that basically had the following options on the customize page: -

1. Semthex 10.4.8 kernel

2. Apple SMBIOS

3. IOATA

4. AppleIntegratedBuffer....

I chose all the options and after this I installed the ATI.ATA package...

When i restarted, the pc did boot in safe boot (with -x), but did not in normal boot. I deleted all the AppleIntel915 and AppleIntel950 kexts and the Extensions cache.

When I restarted now, it booted successfully into normal boot.

When i restarted the next time, the same problem came again, and the system did not boot in normal mode and displayed the stop logo at the startup screen, but successfully safe booted.

Could someone please help...

The configuration of the PC: -

MOBO - Intel Desktop Board D101GGC
