chasingcharlie
My menu does not have all the selections (10.4.8, JaS's last one) in a screen shot someone posted and I don't know how to add the ppf, although I have it. Will this give me the install choices for x1000 support as shown in their screen shot? thanks charlie Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/38435-adding-ppf-to-your-dvd-how/ Share on other sites
Rammjet
To apply the PPF, download PPF-O-Matic (Google it). It comes in Windows, Java and OSX flavors. However, the OSX version is prone to crashing so the Windows version is recommended. Run the program and point it to your ISO file and to your PPF file and it will modify the ISO file with the PPF information. You then burn the modified ISO to DVD. For safety, you might want to make a copy of the unpatched ISO file first. munky
A workaround for the Mac version if it crashes on 'browse for ppf'. Simply find your ppf file in Finder, and right-click, Open With... PPF-O-Matic. Then you can browse in the PPF-O-Matic program for the image file. chasingcharlie
thanks for the info! I hope after this that I get the same options on the JaS 10.4.8, such as the video because I've got a 1600x and have yet to get it to work correctly .... thanks charlie Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/38435-adding-ppf-to-your-dvd-how/#findComment-274316 Share on other sites
