My menu does not have all the selections (10.4.8, JaS's last one) in a screen shot someone posted and I don't know how to add the ppf, although I have it.

Will this give me the install choices for x1000 support as shown in their screen shot?

thanks

charlie

To apply the PPF, download PPF-O-Matic (Google it). It comes in Windows, Java and OSX flavors. However, the OSX version is prone to crashing so the Windows version is recommended.

Run the program and point it to your ISO file and to your PPF file and it will modify the ISO file with the PPF information. You then burn the modified ISO to DVD. For safety, you might want to make a copy of the unpatched ISO file first.

Thanks Munky...I have been jackin with trying to apply the PPF for days. I got 3 Mac in my house and none would run PPF-O-MATIC (crashed every time). I got it to run on a windows laptop, but when I copied the iso bac to my mac to burn it. Disk utilities wouldnt mount it :censored2:

Try Gumby, it will patch and burn, you can even see what in the ppf file :)
