10.4.7 on Dell I9200

I don't know how I did it, but by all means, I am a newbie and I read and read and read, and searched the forum. I somehow managed to get JAS 10.4.7 working on my Dell I9200 laptop, with Atheros a/b/g (a band don't seem to work, but that's cool), 1900x1200 resolution, and ATI Mobility 9700 with QE/CI working! I assume QE/CI is working by looking at the System Profiler. Mouse tears is there, but I can live with that.

I tried the 10.4.8 and didn't have good luck. Thanks for all great posts and help on the forum! I needed OS X to run because I had to learn Logic Express for a class soon and was contemplating on getting a Macbook Pro. But I think I'll now hold off until Leopard and the C2D 800FSB comes out.
