phor2zero
From the Spec sheet: Video formats supported: H.264 and protected H.264 (from iTunes Store): 640 by 480, 30 fps, LC version of Baseline Profile; 320 by 240, 30 fps, Baseline profile up to Level 1.3; 1280 by 720, 24 fps, Progressive Main Profile. MPEG-4: 640 by 480, 30 fps, Simple Profile I don't really understand all of this. Will the Apple TV play my Xvid files? I have lots of Xvid tvshows that I've figured out how to add to iTunes, and would like to know if the Apple TV will be able to play/stream these as easily as iTunes purchased shows. I don't think so, since iTunes does not accept Divx/Xvid/AVI Movies, but this is iTunes 7.0.2 maybe 7.1 but I doubt it since Apple wants a captive Market. Just hope there will be a HD Movies on iTunes Store. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/38242-apple-tv/#findComment-274541 Share on other sites
