pck
Hello, My sound worked out of the box with JaS 10.4.8 AMD/Intel SSE2/SSE3 8.8.1 semthex kernel but I can only select Line-Out in the Sound Preferences. This means the my headphone out works but my internal speakers don't! I'm using a Intel 82801DBM ICH4-M - AC'97 Audio Controller with AppleAC97Audio.kext and AppleAC87AudioIntelICH.kext Vendor id: 8086 Device id: 24c5 Anyone knows a way to get my laptop speakers running properly? pck
Well I have search throughout this forum a lot and didn't find any solutions. Isn't their any preferences file where I can manually change the port or something? Just switch the Line-Out port with Speaker-Out? coyote320
Hello, I have also a Asus W1000N Series Notebook with exactly the same configuration. I was looking for a solution to get the sound out of the speaker and i found a solution but for Linux here http://www.linux.w1n-forum.net/linux/ as I know that some people say that from Linux to OSX their only a little step (especially from people that get wifi drivers works for OSX86 from Linux drivers) SO if anyone have an idea to apply this solution to OSX86 it will be great. I 'm still trying myself but any help will be appreciated Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/38132-laptop-speaker-sound-with-intel-82801dbm-ac97-audio/#findComment-727301 Share on other sites
