Pietus
When I start OS X from scratch, the screen resolution is too low. When I reboot (OS X, but also Linux or Windows) however the resolution is like I set in com.Apple.Boot.plist, namely 1280 x 1024. How is this possible ? Setting the resolution in the boot options does not solve the problem... Any ideas ? My video card is a NVidia 7300LE, my OS X has vesion 10.4.7. Pietus
Hi WOW, I already tried the auto-installer for MacVidia, but it left my system for dead (my monitor complained about an invalid video signal) so I had to manually un-install them again. As for 10.4.8: I have a stable system now, so I am a bit reluctant to upgrade if it is not absolutely necessary ... Ah well, I can wait for a fully working MacVideo driver and play with their current releases in the meantime. By the way: they seam to have an argument with their hoster right now, so no drivers can be downloaded. Patience ...
