what's your mobo ?

is your rig already running OS X86, and which tiger version are you running (especially what kernel version)

if you have latest 10.4.8 + semthex kernel, core 2 duo should work fine as a dual core CPU.

on desktop combo with compliant mobo, dual core CPUs work just fine

Thanks for the info.

I will be running the 10.4.8/8.8.1 release that JaS put out just a few days agao.

It's an asus board. you can see it here http://www.pricegrabber.com/search_techspe...sterid=22522540

No i'm not running it yet, it will arrive in 2 days via ups. I just wanted to make sure i was going to get the full performance, or if i would have to run it in single core mode. and if i would have to patch something or not what i would have to download/and or know to fix it.
