riahc3
I try to do the "create partition primary id=af" step on my PC and it doesnt work. The disk Im trying to use is a 320 SATAII drive; All of the drive expect 10GB is a NTFS partition with Windows installed. Why does it give me a "DiskPart was unable to create the specified partition." error?

gutrun
jup,....same problem. does the partition have to be made logical or whatever in the Computer Management ?... jup,....same problem. does the partition have to be made logical or whatever in the Computer Management ?... it worked after deleting the rest space of my disk 0, so that the restspace was shown in black not more in green and then you can also go here: create partition primary size=30720 id=af if you want a 30 gig partition
