cbwestrunner Posted January 2, 2007 Share Posted January 2, 2007 Ok, I'm having a problem. I installed the OSX DVD fine. I used the Myz OSX 10.4.6 DVD for my installation. I followed all the steps to a T. I used the Acronis boot selector for my OS selector. Here's my problem. Whenever I select to boot the OSX, I get this darwin screen, and it asks which partition to boot from. I believe this is ok. I select the partition which has OSX installed on it, and the I get this myraid of lines running down the screen for a couple seconds. I believe that part is normal as well. However, when all the lines stop running down the screen, the computer just reboots itself. I'm not exactly sure what's going on here. The only thing I might have done to mess it up was when I installed it I selected all 3 intel patches to be installed. I'm running off an Intel chip that meets all the SSE requirements. I made sure to deselect the AMD patch. If anyone could help me figure out what's going on so I can boot into OSX that would be great. Thanks!
