Every now and again I see this screen, and I do know why. I was using a crappy pci audio card I had lying around. Causes blue screens of death every once in a while on windows. So I ask of you. Is there no way the system can simply ignore these errors instead of making me restart every time.

And to those of you who most certainly will respond saying the following "You should just ditch the crappy pci card and get a cheap usb audio device.", I already have a fully supported usb audio device, but I have a desire to see this hardware and much more pci sound cards out there supported in os x, like professional audio cards. (ranting...)

Well basically, it is faulty. I have a long history with this card. But it functions better than my onboard audio in OS X. I have an ICH7 ALC655 onboard and it's support blows. I have a (i think) a CMI audio card and 2 SoundBlaster 128s sitting around and are better supported, but the hardware is "faulty". They are old, don't work perfectly and in OS X at least all cause a random "You need to reboot your computer" message. There is no telling what will set it off. No common cause.
