macstibs
On the 10.4.7 HW support list, there is one entry for a Sony Vaio that reported success in enabling the Realtek ALC262 chipset for sound. There are a number of people looking for some guidance on this chipset, and I've just now got it partially working but it's not 100%. (I have sound coming out of the integrated media out port on the dock but not the headphone jack on the laptop itself. The port looks like a headphone jack but it includes a composite video out signal) If the OP on the HCL list is still around any help would be much appreciated. Luminaire
You sure you don't mean 826? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36442-realtek-alc262-support/#findComment-259522 Share on other sites
macstibs
You sure you don't mean 826? Unless this guy meant the 826, then no, it's listed as the ACL262 and its a Vaio so it makes sense. But I guess anything is possible...
