Scotty geek
Well this isn't so much a cry for help, but just letting everyone know I am giving the hackintosh a try. My current setup (which will be upgraded in the new year) Intel 2.6 GHZ (SSE2 only ) Intel 865PERL, 1 GB Ram, 250 GB HDD, ATI 9800Pro AGP. I managed to get it to boot, but it does not like my PS2 Keyboard. I dug up a USB keyboard and will be trying that tonight. But on the bootup it boots alot faster than my G4 imac I used to have. I'll report more once it sees a keyboard. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36293-first-time-install/ Share on other sites
Sailfish
You might check your BIOS on boot. There are options on PS2 devices and USB devices. Sometimes USB conflicts with PS2 so you might try turning different options on and off. If you are going with USB, check the legacy USB box too. I run a USB mouse and a PS2 Keyboard (don't ask why).
