Tripolarted
Right, i figured this would be the best place to get some help on this. Just got all the hardware together to get a PC-Mac running. Got everything connected, and pushed the power button. ---nothing. it's got: EVGA e-GeForce 6200 TC. seen {here} Intel D945GNT motherboard. seen {here} Intel Pentium 4 524 / 3.06 GHz processor. seen {here} FSP ATX 12V ver.2.01 ATX-300PA Power Supply. Seen {here} I kind of think that it's the power supply since it's only 300wat. But it makes more sense to get others opinions before spending more on another power supply Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36276-something-isnt-working/ Share on other sites
Rammjet
Reset the CMOS by unplugging the computer. Remove the battery. Set the CMOS drain jumper. Spin your body left 2 times, spin your body right 2 times (time waster) and then reset the jumper, reinstall battery and replug in the computer. Strip down to minimum. Remove everything except processor, one stick of memory and power supply. Disconnect cables to hard drives and DVD drives. Try it out. If it beeps once, then that config is good. If it beeps more than once, then it is telling you what is wrong. If it doesn't beep and no LED lights up, then it is either the motherboard or power supply. If the first try works, then add one more component and try again. Etc.
