Is that how the data is being displayed with the latest release? Both images are from original macOS stuff (about and system reports) When the problem happens on any apps (CyberDevs app or others) the problem is also on System report (original mac report) Usually OSX has problem to display correctly in system reports Mhz from CPU with base clock above 4300Mhz for this i have asked to see also Alpha22 system report, because its CPU is lower than that limit Edited November 21, 2025 by fabiosun Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361492-efi-mounter/page/14/#findComment-2843990 Share on other sites
Cyberdevs
I guess the hardware detection requires to be refined For showing the correct processor info on fabiosun’s rig i made some changes which mi break the previous hardware detection on some systems. I’m very busy at work to resolve some server issues on a client’s server and when I find some free time I’ll look into it Thanks for the reports guys. 3 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361492-efi-mounter/page/14/#findComment-2843991 Share on other sites

Thebes Knossos
Nice app, works fine thanks. Just a suggestion. I use it as icon in menu bar. Is it possible to have color change for icon if an EFI partition is mounted ? I use Mounty for NTFS R/W, it has this feature. 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361492-efi-mounter/page/14/#findComment-2844000 Share on other sites
Cyberdevs
Released v. 2.4 Build 30. Added menubar icon change based on the contents of the EFI partition Cyan for OpenCore, Green for Clover, Blue for macOS Empty EFI, etc. Improved hardware detection logic Minor bug fixes Download available from the link in first post and from the app's update. @Alpha22 can you please check the processor speed detection and see if that works? I've tested the app on several systems and it shows the speed correctly. @fabiosun I've edited some parts of the code and this version is different from the one I've sent you via PM yesterday and I hope this version works on your rig as well but I'm not sure. Cyberdevs
Thanks for the feedbacks guys, what I've noticed so far is that on some systems that the CPU isn't supported natively like AMD CPUs and Intel 13th and 14th Gen processors the speed CPU speed detection is bananas! Albeit it works fine on all of my rigs which is a bit confusing. My test rigs are: MacBook Pro 2013 iMac 2014 KabyLake 7700K Intel Xeon E3-1245 Intel Core i9 12900K The CPU information is showing correctly on all of these rigs. I'll look into it and hopefully fix these problems. 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361492-efi-mounter/page/14/#findComment-2844179 Share on other sites

Thebes Knossos
Not only 13 and 14 gen, gen 4 is no ok too: Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361492-efi-mounter/page/14/#findComment-2844199 Share on other sites
