Hey m8s ;-)

When I try to exit the ysystem I always get this before shutdown. How do I fix it or it is something normal?

Besides on bootup I noticed some error messages saying "family specific matching fails".

Do you know how can I fix them?

For the /usr/bin error, you said it was on shutdown.

Anyway, go to Utilities folder and find Console. Click the Logs button in the Toolbar. Examine the system.log and scroll back to the time of a reboot/shutdown and see if the error is listed.

For startup errors, try going to Terminal and type: sudo dmesg

Alright. I am having a little trouble messing with the log so if you tell me where is it located I will attach it here.

BTW HELP!!!!!

All letters suddenly disappeard and now appeared again. after a browser restart. And again parts of the words don't come ouit rigth. Please tell me what is going on???

system.log is located in /var/log

The output of the dmesg command is not in a log. You can record it by going to Terminal and typing:

sudo dmesg > ~/Desktop/dmesg.txt

then find the file on your Desktop

Sounds like you have something causing crashes. In Console, click the arrow beside the /var/log item. Find the crashreporter.log and find out what it applications it wrote crash reports for.

Now the stupid terminal won't show. It launches a windows so small I cannot resize.

Anyway I used X11 and here is what I got:

Just remove the zip extension. They are not zipped.

Here is System.log @ rapidshare because it's too big for the forum:

dmesg.text.zip

dmesg.text.zip

Ahh, a LOT of "family specific matching" errors. Usually they only occur on the "display", but yours are all over the system.

If it were me, I would totally reinstall and see if they go away. Be sure to pick your choices in Customize carefully.
