Hi iPal.

Your Desktop looks slick and neat.

Could you please share how did you get the temperature readings in iStat Menus, because:

1] Using a MacPro model identifier disables CPU temperature readings in iStat menus

2] To get the readings, the model identifier must be set to MacBookPro6,x

Could you please share how did you do it?

As we all are using FakeSMC (3.1) with the set of plugin kexts.

It would be highly appreciated if you could share the workaround with us all.

Regards,

Freaky Chokra :)

I used to use CC back in my snow leo days but I got rid of it because certain programs wouldn't work such as photoshop would crash but I'm going to give it another shot and see how it fairs.

CC still has a tendency of producing a high cpu usage on certain apps spiking them to 100% so it isn't exactly stable enough for me to use on an everyday use but nonetheless it still looks great wish it didn't have that issue though.

@slugnet : weather app ?

i forgot to say....nice wallpaper :o

I'm using this script for GeekTool to handle the weather: http://www.macosxtips.co.uk/geeklets/weath...ahoo-weather-1/

For date/time, I'm using this script for GeekTool: http://www.macosxtips.co.uk/geeklets/produ...op-date-time-1/

The iTunes info at the bottom is a plugin for Bowtie called Unnamed. I don't have a direct link, but I got it at http://bowcase.me/

I got the wallpaper off of Deviant Art. Again, I don't have a direct link.

Hope that helps!
