Getting some help from ING for BTWISE OC MOD using OCAT here.

Seems the Hosts are needed /etc/hosts  to be edited to include these sites for github backend repo's to be able to have access in downloading.

ING has been very informative and kind but we need to make sure this works for everyone involved.

Here's what ING has written and I've used google translate to  read it:

Note for hosts:
Automatic daily update of IP addresses for github, docker and tinyMediaManager.

Hosts URL:

Raw URL: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/wjz304/hosts/main/hosts
CDN URL: https//gcore.jsdeliv.net/gh/wjz304/hosts@main/hosts
CDN URL: https//cdn.statically.com/gh/wjz304/hosts/main/hosts (Recommended)

Used:
Windows/MacOS:
Recommend to use: SwitchHosts App
Official Website: https://swh.app/zh

Linux:
delete: sudo sed -i '/# ING Hosts Start/,/# ING Hosts End/d' /etc/hosts

add to: curl -s -L https://raw.githubusercontent.com/wjz304/hosts/main/hosts | sudo tee -a /etc/hosts

CDN URL: https//cdn.statically.com/gh/wjz304/hosts/main/hosts

Place these into the /etc/hosts file or use Switchhosts app which ING recommends to use

@Max.1974

with the new version of OCAT 20220238 --MOD-- all the changes to the configuration is uploaded into the database of OCAT.

Ocvalidate will trigger a red --> ! <-- exclamation and press that red Icon and it will reveal the new additions. Then press save and OCAT will add these to your config.plist.

Check the config plist to make sure it has been added.  Always look at the sample.plist in the database.

To find the Sample.plist:

look in /Users/UserName/.ocat  <-- use keys: command+shift+dot key to reveal hidden folders and files.

search for devDatabase>BaseConfigs>Sample.plist & SampleCustom.plist open with your fav editor in this case it looks like you use OCC.

Enjoy

I don't understand where is the news 😁 ? Maybe it's always been like this since it was conceived by ic005k for all release, debug, dev versions, now it's also a mod, it really stands out for being an all-in-one, that is, with all the necessary tools including OC Validate

Hi @makk

Translated by Google:

I very much appreciate your willingness, and thank you for taking the time to show us around. In fact, a Brazilian who is also a member of this forum, and has a very advanced knowledge (close to mine) has a youtube channel @universohackintosh and the github channel mentioned in the following post, it made me study a lot, a lot and update myself . I was in need of these updates on the hackintosh environment, which I have long been dependent on for information.

I updated my Opencore manually, but checked with OCAT and used the release 0.8.7 zip file, which came out on 12/06/2022 to catch up and run our blessed machines.

Very important all the information about how we update our systems. I always thank you all, because this site and other super important ones like Maldon (Olarila.com) are a blessing in our lives.

I just have to thank you for all your efforts. I was in a difficult personal situation throughout this year, unfortunately I lost my dear mother, but God knows that when I turn to my work and my favorite hobby, Hackintosh, I end up not thinking much about the problems.

God bless you all!!! All of them!!!

Thanks !!!

@Max.1974 my good friend please take a look again.

Your photo shows OpenCore Original and Mine Shows OpenCore Mod

The 'Mod' after the word OpenCore is essential or else your version is not the Mod.

Have nice weekend!
