I guess that, if you don't pick EFI partitions in ScanPolicy, Windows is not automatically detected.

And EFI partitions of the non booting macOS disks always are shown even when EFI systems are not marked in ScanPolicy.

There are instructions about how to boot Windows by a custom entry instead of automatically detected by OC, it's a medium complicated task.

Now OC boot menu show 3 SSD

 ScanPolicy = 2687747

 Then follow this guide to get Windows EFI Path

        <key>Entries</key>
        <array>
            <dict>
                <key>Arguments</key>
                <string></string>
                <key>Auxiliary</key>
                <false/>
                <key>Comment</key>
                <string>Windows 11 Pro</string>
                <key>Enabled</key>
                <true/>
                <key>Flavour</key>
                <string>Windows11 Pro:Windows</string>
                <key>Name</key>
                <string>Windows 11 Pro</string>
                <key>Path</key>
                <string>Your Windows EFI path/\EFI\BOOT\BOOTX64.EFI </string>
                <key>TextMode</key>
                <false/>
            </dict>
        </array>

Hi guys

Need a little help.

This is running perfectly with 12.6 but when upgrading to 13.1 no usb ports are working.

Have tried usb mapping but no luck.

Any suggestions?

LGA771 (HP WX8600 workstation)

2x Intel Xeon 5450

Radeon RX580

12.6 and 13.1 Opencore

Config.plist

Would you know why About This Mac info is different from my config.plist? I have it to iMac17,1 in config but About This Mac show as 18,3.  Seem like it picking up from my other SSD for MacOS 13.1 which I have as 18,3?

edit: I meant to say this SSD is only dedicated for 12.6.2. Use iMac 17,1 so it won’t show update for MacOS13

iMac17,1 is not compatible with MacOS 13.1

 I meant to say this SSD is only dedicated for 12.6.2. I Use iMac 17,1 so it won’t show update for MacOS13. However, my config plist show different from About This Mac as you see in previous post.

it is because it confused with my 2nd SSD? My 2nd SSD is setup for iMac18,3.

hope I made it clear to understand my issue.

my config is set to 17,1 but About This Mac show 18,3.

It's strange.

It can happen if you inadvertently boot from the EFI of the disk that has 18.3 SMBIOS instead of booting from the EFI with 17.1.

As @Slice says, 17.1 is not supported by Ventura so it can't boot from that EFI.

Maybe it detects the EFI with 18.3 as the only valid EFI for Ventura and boots from there.

Maybe it detects the EFI with 18.3 as the only valid EFI for Ventura and boots from there.”

I guess you’re right because if I boot from Monterey, and on OC boot menu, if I select Ventura it will cause panic.

I had to boot from Ventura, at this point, I can select any OS.
