dishguy05
Here are my specs. Board: Intel DG965WH CPU: Intel E6300 (Core2 Duo) RAM: 2GB HD: 320GB Seagate Barracuda SATA I have installed Vista RC2 and now i'm trying to install OSX. I have downloaded Jas 10.4.7 as well as 10.4.8 but am unable to get it to install. The defauly BIOS state halts the install at ACPU: System State ( image attached below ) So i read up a little and seems like that option for ACPI needs to be enabled in BIOS. Not sure where to look, so I changed some settings and get past the above issue. But now, I get stuck at this point, something to do with Waiting for boot volume with UUID...(image below) and i have no idea how to get past this issue. Any help would be appreciated! kle500
Exactly the same M/B, tried everything, with no luck. Shall we wait for future support on 965 chipsets and X3000 from apple machines? I am about to either sell my board and go for a 945 board, or wait a couple of months. I am also thinking on make a new machine, based on the 945 (D945GNTLKR), and pick up a used Penitum D. But then, the memory will be the most expensive part (2g RAM). What do you think?
