trav1085
I found it hard to use my old labtec webcam with Mac OS X 10.4. I couldn't find any drivers made for the camera, or labtec drivers for mac at all. So I found this program on sourceforge called macam. It gives you generic USB camera support for OS X. It's universal and is open-source so is for any Mac OS (almost). It works with hackintoshes as well. I plugged my USB camera in and it detected Labtec and just worked. You might need to adjust the settings on it. It doesn't work with camcorders or digital video camers yet, unlike with Windows (as I have a sony and no native support for x). But it does the job for a basic webcam. Site Here Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/35174-usb-webcam-support-for-mac-os-x/ Share on other sites
