I AM A COMPLETE NOOB AT THIS STUFF AND NEED HELP.

WOULD LIKE TO INSTALL MACOS BIG SUR ON MY NEWLY BUILT DESKTOP.

PLEASE SEE MY SIGNATURE FOR MORE INFO AND SCREEN SHOTS!

CAN PAY VIA CASH APP. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! :)

No support in Big Sur for your Pacal GTX 1050 Ti graphics card. You'd have to run on the iGPU only. You can. follow the guide for Coffee Lake systems available at Dortania.

@Michael Smith - Hi if I may suggest, remove the unsupported graphics card or disable it somehow and try this EFI Folder formulated by AG for your board for iGPU only. You will have to add the machine's data in the config.plist i.e S/N, ROM, SmUUID etc, etc- Good luck.

The price of an RX580, if you can get one or RX570 at the moment is ridiculous, your best bet is possibly an Nvidia 710 if your budget is a bit stretched for one of the other two mentioned would work quite well in BS.

The only nVidia cards supported in Big Sur are Kepler models (and stay off GK106-based ones due to a bug in the driver). GT710/GT720/GT730 work perfectly and OOB.

For AMD models, consult theDortania GPU buyers guide.

The EFI Folder I posted is for iGPU only so won't be much use if or you decide to install a dGPU card but all is not lost see AG's Thread covering this board and how to get up and running - see here - AudioGod's Aorus Z390 Pro Patched DSDT Mini Guide and Discussion. Good luck.

NVIDIA 710 is worse than my current GPU. I’ll go for one of the RX580’s. I can afford it lol

Can I get two? What are these ATI? Crossfire supported in Big Sur? LOL I like to play video games on my PC to though need good GPUS
