Raimonds
Hello, Could please someone apply these new patches for the Supermicro X11SPL-F bios in order to disable CFGLock? And send the modded bios to me? I went through this guide here http://shorturl.at/suGUW but still could not figured out how to do it.. I have added patches in attachments. The bios file can be found here: https://www.supermicro.com/about/policies/disclaimer.cfm?SoftwareItemID=12558 p.s. I know, Tonymacx86 is not supported by this forum, but that's the only place I have found it how to do it, regarding disabling CFgLock for c621 chipset. Many thanks, Ray patches.txt Edited March 19, 2021 by Raimonds link update

You may just set appropriate quirk in Clover or OpenCore and live with it. Sure it is possible without any wrong effects.

eSaF
Hi I think what @Slice is saying, you can state in the config.plist whether CFG is locked or unlocked without any adverse effect or operation of the system. Spoiler
etorix
Welcome to the Xeon Users Club, @Raimonds! Patching is a simple command line affair; the hardest part is to find the right release of UEFITool, including UEFIPatch. Otherwise, you may use BOTH AppleXcpmCfgLock (0xE2) and AppleXcpmExtraMsrs (0x1AA) in OpenCore. Have you booted the X11SPL, or is this the beginning of your journey?
