Unexpected shutdown when trying to install big sur

I have a Lenovo ideapad S340 which has Intel Core i5-1035G1 and Nvidia GeForce MX250.

I created a virtual machine and installed the Big Sur Beta installer and downloaded the Clover EFI from here. 

Then I tried booting and reached as far as the installation page, but when it showed me that there were around 12 minutes remaining, it just shut down. I tried restarting, but still the same problem, I don't know why this happened, was hoping someone here could help me.
