macattackjack
Hi I've been a member for a while, but couldn't find an appropriate forum other than this to ask a question. I have an essential program for music hardware that I use. The kext driver is 64 bit, but the app for settings is 32, and no longer working in Catalina. The maker of the hardware dropped support. The kext and hardware still work with Catalina, and installing and putting the plist from 10.14.6 in the appropriate folder, and then restarting the hardware still functions. Essentially what I need is what the Clover Configurator and Opencore configurator programs do with the config.plist, for the plist file for this kext driver for the hardware. I have programmed in C++, doing first person shooter type games as a kind of hobby. If someone could point me in the right direction as to tutorials, which version of Xcode, etc etc. Thanks Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/345231-diving-into-coding/ Share on other sites
