Sspot Posted November 29, 2006 Share Posted November 29, 2006 To all hello I am trying to update mac os x86 10.4.6 to 10.4.8 first Isntall mac osx 10.4.8 combo update, install new kernel, copy kext applebios, IOATAfamily, delete cache files repair permissions ok all good In the single mode copy old loginwindow i use this comand Sudo cp -R loginwindow.app /System/Library/Codeservices result the copied archives say: "Read only file" it is this normal one ok reboot the result is: Help Please My pc is: Intel 915GAV P4 630 512MB ram Nvidia 6800 GS Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

WaldMeister Posted November 30, 2006 Share Posted November 30, 2006 Somewhere in this forum i read about a program called Macdrive. It makes it possible to acces the OS X partition from windows.
