Nila
I have a downloaded OSX86 from a torrent and patched it with Maxxuss DVD ISO patcher. But while trying to boot it in my Desktop, Panic is occurring. It is showing "unexpected kernel trap" and some register numbers. Is this because of my DVD ISO itself is corrupt or my hardware is not supported by OS X? The configuration of my pc is:- Motherboard - ASROCK i845GV (intel 845 chipset) Processor-Intel P4 1.6 GHz. (earlier P4 family processor) Hard Disk-Samsung 80 GB CD and DVD-One CD and two DVD drives is these hardware supported by "OS X"? Callysto
was the original DVD iso image patched or unpatched? what was it called? it may be that you need a more up to date install DVD. There are a few, anything from 10.4.4 upwards leave anything alone that is 10.4.1 or 10.4.3 your processor needs to at least support SSE2 instructions use cpu-z in windows to determine this
Nila
Resolved the problem myself. No it was not due to the DVD. It was because I was using an add on NVIDIA Graphics card. My BIOS keeps the two graphics card enabled at a time. Kernel was being unable to solve this situation. Removed addon card and OK.
