mirio Posted May 23, 2020 Share Posted May 23, 2020 Hi guys I need your help again I was running Catalina 10.15 fully working but I'm never satisfied so I decided to update to 10.15.4. First of all I updated Clover and all the kexts (for VirtualSMC I installed SMCBatteryManager.kext and SMCProcessor.kext too). The update went fine except for the fact that I didnt set the default boot entry so I got an error but the update completed successfully and everything works except for one very annoying thing. Whenever I unplug the HDMI cable, the laptop's screen becomes black I just can manually reboot. And another very bad issue is that if I'm plugged in to HDMI and the laptop goes to sleep, I can't wake it anymore. HDMI gets no signal and laptop's monitor becomes black as well. Where should I look for fixing this? Didn't happen on Catalina 10.15. I read that many users got similar issues updating to 10.15.4, someone fixed someone not but it's not clear.
