ISO Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11 Disk Image

Hello everyone,,

Partner's wife acquired an Early 2008 iMac. He brought it to me to update and get set up. It was never updated. It's been a major pain in the ass.

I was able to create a bootable disk to update it to OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. I subsequently update it to 10.6.6 which was the version that introduced the App Store. I've tried downloading and updated via the El Capitan link on the Apple Support website and nothing happens.

I thought I might be able to download the installer from my own Mac that is running Mojave. That was a mistake. I'm unable to. Clicking the download button initiates a software check on my Mac and ultimately says it's unable to download.

The only other thing I can think to do is create a bootable disk with the OS X 10.11 image. This issue is trying to find it. Would anyone happen to have a clean .dmg or .iso file for El Capitan?

I would be greatly appreciative....
