Tony Arnold
I drive an LG 5K Ultrafine display using a Titan Ridge Thunderbolt 3 controller, which uses 2 miniDP in from 2 full-size DP on a Vega 64. This works great, initially, however whenever the display goes to sleep, it wakes back up running the display at a sub-5K resolution (which is fuzzy and a bit awful). I've done a small amount of digging, and it appears that the second DisplayPort port is not available after display sleep. If I unplug the connection from the display to the machine, and plug it back in again, everything works - but it would be really nice to not have to do this every time I sit down at my workstation. I've captured AGDCDiagnose output for both before display sleep (correct, full 5K), after display sleep (incorrect, one connected DP port missing) and after unplugging and re-plugging the display again (correct, full 5K). Does anyone have any ideas on how I might fix this, or dig deeper into the issue?
