_Mirko_
Hi there I have Renesas USB3 working using mXHCD.kext. Ports and connected devices function normally, but they are not visible in System Profiler. Only my USB2 ports and devices show up under USB section. Ports and connected devices are visible in ioreg under PEX1@1C,1: | | +-o PEX1@1C,1 <class IOPCIDevice, id 0x10000018a, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (3593 ms), retain 12> | | | +-o IOPP <class IOPCI2PCIBridge, id 0x1000001e9, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (3591 ms), retain 8> | | | +-o pci1033,194@0 <class IOPCIDevice, id 0x1000001bf, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (3591 ms), retain 15> | | | +-o mXHCD <class mXHCD, id 0x1000001f8, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (258 ms), retain 12> | | | | +-o USB Super-Speed Bus@0 <class IOUSBRootHubDevice, id 0x100000318, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (121 ms), retain 17> | | | | | +-o AppleUSBLegacyHub <class AppleUSBLegacyHub, id 0x100000319, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (0 ms), retain 10> | | | | | +-o IOUSBInterface@0 <class IOUSBInterface, id 0x10000031b, !registered, !matched, active, busy 0 (0 ms), retain 7> | | | | | +-o leapd <class IOUSBDeviceUserClientV2, id 0x100000423, !registered, !matched, active, busy 0, retain 5> | | | | | +-o Google Chrome <class IOUSBDeviceUserClientV2, id 0x100000d40, !registered, !matched, active, busy 0, retain 5> | | | | +-o ASM1053E@1c100000 <class IOUSBDevice, id 0x100000504, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (248 ms), retain 15> | | | | +-o IOUSBCompositeDriver <class IOUSBCompositeDriver, id 0x100000507, !registered, !matched, active, busy 0, retain 4> | | | | +-o IOUSBInterface@0 <class IOUSBInterface, id 0x100000508, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (132 ms), retain 8> | | | | | +-o IOUSBMassStorageClass <class IOUSBMassStorageClass, id 0x10000050a, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (122 ms), retain 9> | | | | | +-o IOSCSIPeripheralDeviceNub <class IOSCSIPeripheralDeviceNub, id 0x10000050c, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (21 ms), retain 7> | | | | | +-o IOSCSIPeripheralDeviceType00 <class IOSCSIPeripheralDeviceType00, id 0x100000510, !registered, !matched, active, busy 0 (18 ms), retain 7> | | | | | +-o IOBlockStorageServices <class IOBlockStorageServices, id 0x100000513, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (18 ms), retain 6> | | | | | +-o IOBlockStorageDriver <class IOBlockStorageDriver, id 0x100000514, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (18 ms), retain 8> | | | | | +-o asmedia ASM1053E Media <class IOMedia, id 0x100000556, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (18 ms), retain 11> | | | | | +-o IOMediaBSDClient <class IOMediaBSDClient, id 0x100000557, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (0 ms), retain 6> | | | | | +-o IOFDiskPartitionScheme <class IOFDiskPartitionScheme, id 0x10000055a, !registered, !matched, active, busy 0 (1 ms), retain 7> | | | | | +-o Untitled 1@1 <class IOMedia, id 0x10000055d, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (1 ms), retain 10> | | | | | | +-o IOMediaBSDClient <class IOMediaBSDClient, id 0x100000560, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (0 ms), retain 7> | | | | | +-o Untitled 2@2 <class IOMedia, id 0x10000055e, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (1 ms), retain 10> | | | | | +-o IOMediaBSDClient <class IOMediaBSDClient, id 0x10000055f, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (0 ms), retain 7> | | | | +-o leapd <class IOUSBDeviceUserClientV2, id 0x100000516, !registered, !matched, active, busy 0, retain 5> | | | | +-o Google Chrome <class IOUSBDeviceUserClientV2, id 0x100000d41, !registered, !matched, active, busy 0, retain 5> | | | +-o IOService <class IOService, id 0x1000001f9, !registered, !matched, active, busy 0, retain 4> Do you have any idea how to fix this? _Mirko_
This is not external card, its USB3 controller integrated controller in my motherboard: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-P67A-UD3-rev-10/sp I tried GenericUSBXHCI.kext, it behaves exactly the same as mXHCD. My patched DSDT is attached. DSDT.aml Edited December 24, 2019 by _Mirko_
