w180112 Posted December 11, 2019 Share Posted December 11, 2019 Hi all,I find two weird things.I put same EFI folder to 2 different macOS Catalina 10.15.1 disk1 disk is upgrading from macOS 10.13 High Sierra which run perfectly, the other 1 is a clean install macOS 10.15.1 Catalina system1.However audio still can't work in the "upgrading macOS" even I put AppleALC to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/, /L/E/ and delete all previous audio patch using AppleHDAOnly AMD RX5700XT HDMI audio device is shown in device list but not motherboard audioIs there I loss to enable audio?2.The "clean install macOS" system go screen black at booting.Should I always put necessary kexts to /L/E/ ?Thanks.My spec:I7-8700Asus ROG Strix H370-FAMD RX5700XT GigabyteMy Clover folder in EFI folder i at below CLOVER.zip Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

No, I use HDMI. I also already tried iGPU and it shows video but not successfully work.(only 8 MB VRAM) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
