Crabhunter Posted November 15, 2019 Share Posted November 15, 2019 I've just treated myself to an SSD hard drive to replace my mechanical drive. This is the first time I've installed OSX to one of these. I read up beforehand about enabling trim if system report says no under trim. Mine said "No" so I typed sudo trimforce enable and rebooted. Trim support still says no :( I've checked the specs for my ssd and it says it supports trim. Do I need a kext? Is it safe to run now I've enabled it or should I disable it?
