A heads up. If you update VirtualSMC to 1.1.0, you have to add sensor kexts to the Kexts>Other folder in order to have sensor readouts.

@pkdesign New EFIs coming tonight or tomorrow with new DSDTs and all the new kexts and Oc Quirks :thumbsup_anim:

there’s also WEG 1.3.6, Lilu 1.4.1 and more all release.

OcQuirks R12.zip

WhateverGreen-136.zip

VirtualSMC 110.zip

AppleALC-145.zip

that is so strange buddy.

im gonna send you a new EFI,

put your details into it and try again.

its named for somebody else but don’t worry it’s actually my latest EFI,  you can copy your clover config file into it to make life easy.

Wizeman EFI.zip

if you have a MaLD0n edited DSDT then you can use them too. I can’t remember if you do or don’t tbh

I did another thing but it is worked so i let you know

i put usb injectall.kext on efi

removing my gpu and now all usb working and i test sleep and wake so my note is it is sleep faster than before and wake without issue

so do you think the issue is i did something wrong while use hackintool to patch uhd 630 like

or another thing ?

for now my setup working perfectly but i want to put back my gpu

my EFI doesn’t use a usb kext as the dsdt and ssdt control all of that so that will cause many problems for,you

did you try the EFI I sent you with just your details?

Yes of course I am, nothing will make it work...lol

@WizeMan there’s only one thing left for me to try and that’s to wipe my drive and reboot. It could do with that anyway but if that don’t work nothing will. I’m not the only person that has this problem. There’s many threads out there with people crying along with me about it :help::hysterical:

AudioPants  :hysterical::hysterical:

I’m sorry bud.

Let me check tomorrow whether I kept the fixup kext on the EFI maybe I removed it after so many tries I do not remember. Which WiFi BT module do you have?

If this does not work I would recommend checking whether you have multiple entries of Apple Watch on System Preferences -> User Account.

Remove all entries, unpair the watch reboot and repair

I don’t, no, just the one. Everything was correct believe me brother and like I said everything on the watch worked apart from unlock. Allow apps to install on the hack via my watch works fine.

all the obvious things to fix it I’ve already tried more than once as well it’s something out of the box not something obvious.

One more thing I’ve done in the process (whilst trying multiple possible solutions):

1. Shift + Opt + Click the Bluetooth icon

2. Debug

3. Reset Bluetooth Module

Time Machine is super slow :( I have a Lacie Rugged Thunderbolt and it took 3 freakin’ hours to restore last time on my MBP.

I’m really puzzled with your unlock issue (maybe more than I was with mine) so keep me posted :)

@Atomicman

continuing on  from what @WizeMan said, try this little tool and see if you can control volume via it.

Native Display Brightness with MonitorControl

Thanks both for your support.

That is an awesome tool!

It does not exactly solves my issue, but now i can easily change volume of the Monitor with the keys (doing it directly at the Display is quiet anoying. (LG 32UD99))

but if i edit clover gpu section

device id 0x3e9b

and using nv_disable=1

it will boot to macos but not fully functional with 7mb ram

so it is a dead end i think

put my gpu in pci so i lose sleep function

remove it everything work well

i think my answer will be in intell Framebuffer thread not here

you did a lot to me and i wish you be happy always in your life mate

if i fix my issue i will put the fix here so if anyone like me follow your guide like me can use it

When I get a chance I will patch my EFI for you and your igpu. I’m just in the middle of rebooting my system but when it’s done il do it and send it over to you. :thumbsup_anim:

Btw did you try doing it via a whatevergreen boot argument instead of patching clover?

that works too. Give me a minute and il find the argument for you

It should just work, I’ve looked into it and I think it’s just like @WizeMan said and a macOS bug. That’s why I posted my replay as a follow up to he’s message as the tool I sent you would be the next best way around it.

In the bios under io ports, also you need to be using bios regions F7 for your motherboard with my dsdt.
if your using any other version then flash it to F7

download from here

https://www.aorus.com/Z390-I-AORUS-PRO-WIFI-rev-10#pd_download

I have put together this simple little guide for anybody wanting to use a Patched DSDT EFI with the same configuration as me.
This is also a thread to discuss everything Z390 Master and try and help where we can and maybe make things a little better for you.

A huge massive thank you to @glasgood @MaLd0n @larabee These three guys have helped me and talked me so much and are as helpful as you could ever get, Without them I wouldn't have a perfect working build like I do or be putting up this Guide & Discussion Thread sharing the hard work and countless hours that we have all put in to this.

This EFI and Patched DSDT have been created to work with a Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Master using bios revision F11c, 9900k with a 5700 XT but has also been tested and verified fully working with the following Hardware

      CPU's
      8600K, 8700, 8700K, 9600K, 9700K, 9900K, 9900KS

      GPU's
      RX 560, 570, 580, 590, Vega 56, Vega 64, Radion VII, 5700, 5700 XT
(If you have success with any different CPU or GPU's then please do let me know)

@glasgood Has kindly put together a new simple Catalina install guide so Just Follow He's Guide For a Perfect Install. (glasgood put the guide together for the Z390 Pro but the two boards are so alike that you can follow this guide with no problems at all using the Z390 Master)

      CLOVER EFI FOLDERS
please note - You must flash your Z390 MASTER bios to revision F11c to use any of these EFI's, The DSDT is not designed for any other Bios revision
