_Mirko_ Posted August 3, 2019 Share Posted August 3, 2019 Hi there, my configuration is the following: Sandy Bridge Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3 (rev 1.0). Intel 2600K XFX RX580 I bought a new GPU, heard it was supported with egpu and works out of the box with Hackintosh. I'm getting black screen right after boot sequence and when it is supposed to change mode. I tried DVI and HDMI ports, the same issue on both, didn't have a chance to try display port. Do you have any suggestions. Here is my config attached. Is this in a config file or I should reinstall? I can see Legacy option in he boot? Sorry if its a newbie question. _Mirko_ Posted August 3, 2019 Author Share Posted August 3, 2019 (edited) I've managed to boot into OS X, but in Software mode only, gpu appears as: "AMD Radeon RX 580 6 MB": AMD Radeon RX 580: Chipset Model: AMD Radeon RX 580 Type: GPU Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 6 MB Vendor: AMD (0x1002) Device ID: 0x67df Revision ID: 0x00e7 EFI Driver Version: 01.00.3180 I have used Mojave patcher: http://dosdude1.com/mojave/ and selected option iMac12.2, and got it running. Unfortunately no hardware acceleration, so its bit more sluggish than it should be. Not sure if I can do something about it. Here are settings that got it running attached. I flashed my card with Sapphire Pulse RX580 8GB bios, only first two display ports work in Hackintosh, but I don't need anything else. I have few small issues. 1. Hibernate does not work, if it goes to hibernate, monitor does not power when it turns back on. 2. I have P-State error in the log, I checked enable P and C states but that didn't solve this. 3.
