So, for the moment, no Bluetooth for those Broadcom-based cards that need it.

@Sanom4, BCM94331CD normally carries id 14e4:4331. In Catalina, it's covered by AirPortBrcm4360 Plugin of IO80211Family. Did you check if the kext has loaded? You could try and declare your card compatible with 14e4:4353 if necessary. Is it an Apple card or something else?

You can look it up in IORegistryExplorer: device id, vendor id, subsystem id and subsystem vendor id.

Funny because I declare my DW1820a (PCI id 14e4:43a3) compatible with 14e4:4331 in order to load AirportBrcm4360 and it works perfectly.

Same Dell XPS 8930 as my sig. Working properly as far as I can tell. For pre installation all I did was update Clover to r4940, added the 2 usb clover patches, updated all my lilu kexts and ran the macOS Developer Beta Access Utility. The OS itself has been smooth running so far. 32bit applications are sorely missed. Steam is dead in the water until it's updated to 64bit.

steam is already 64-bit ready. just download it again from official website. =]

I didn't try applying them manually. According to the Clover commit browser, they were added to 4493 by slice.

Installed first time as upgrade to Mojave latest dev beta using only Clover 4940.

Safari security changes make it a little "fun" trying to get in here to post, Safari is positive this site is trying to lie to me about who it is :)

I see,

In catalania this kext should not even be loaded - missing dependencies are used.

Should you mean KernelXCPM also partially written by me, you need to enable it in the first place. (i.e patches are not applied AUTOMATICALLY)

AirportBrcmFixup, OS-X-BrcmPatchRAM, SMCBatteryManager -> use IOCatalogue methods, like startMatching, addDrivers, removeDrives,

These methods are not exported from kernel any more in 10.15, and startMatching has a new signature.

So, these kexts cannot be loaded.

For SMCBatteryManager vi9696 commited a workaround, for AirportBrcmFixup  it will take some time.

Hi, anyone has tested the Atheros AR9280 in Catalina? In Mojave I need to extract from High Sierra´s IO80211Family.kext the AirPortAtheros40.kext from 10.13.6 and put it into the Mojave´s IO80211Family.kext > Plugins and reinstall the kext, with this method I was able to work AR9280 in Mojave without any problem. At the moment I can´t try it.

Thanks in advance.

My laptop can't wake up after sleep,When the laptop just enters sleep, there is light on the keyboard. You can wake it up through the keyboard or mouse. When it completely enters sleep (the keyboard light goes out), it can't wake up. The power key has light. You can only restart it. Who can help me? I will thank you very much.

Hi All - quick thing - I have a NUC 8i7BEH with 32GB RAM and 2 x 1TB SSD drives. Each drive has its own OS - Windows 10 and Catalina 10.15.

Clover works well - Catalina Boots, so does Windows.
Catalina - has sound over HDMI (to my monitor's speakers)
Windows - no audio device found - It does show Realtek and Intel Display Drivers - but the speaker has a red"x" and in Devices, there is no entry for Microphone Array under Audio Input/Output. It does, however, show Intel display over the HDMI - but actually no sound.

I have tried reinstalling Realtek drivers - now here's the thing...when it installs, it first uninstalls existing Realtek drivers - at this stage (and it's important) the sound starts working - as if uninstalling did the trick. As part of the installing, I have to reboot and upon reboot, it actually reinstalls the Realtek drivers. After that, I'm back to square 1. Unsure if it's the config.plist or boot args in clover. But something with Clover for sure.

I have tested this by removing the Mac Drive with clover and just booting directly to Windows 10 bootloader and everything works as it should, I have sound over HDMI and the audio device shows. Just not when I boot with Clover.

has anyone experienced this and have thoughts or pointers.

      Thanks a ton!

Hi, I've create bootable Catalina USB using Clover Bootloader newest version.
I am stuck on booting so who has a solution for this?
      My specifications:
      - MSI Z390 Gaming Edge AC
      - Intel i9 9900K with UHD 630
      - RAM 32GB (2x16) TridentZ 3000mhz
      - SSD 860 1TB + 970 pro 500GB
I tried using some OsxOptioFixDrv but nothing changed, it returned same results: Cannot allocate area.
Then i used OsxOptioFixDrv-free2000.uefi and got this:

      I added args "-v -s -x dart=0 UseKernelCache=false" but seems to be the same.
Please help me find a solution for it
