ok now my BCM943224HMS now works with the Fix AirportBrcmFixup;)

AirportAtheros40kext.

I tested by placing in Library/Extensions, no good.

I tested in Clover/Kext/Other, no good.

I placed the kext in IO80211kext (Catalina original), no good but shows wifi utility.

I saved original kext 80211 for backup, then used High Sierra 80211kext with Atheros40 fix and it works.

So modifying the IO80211Familykext didn't work for me, and using Atheros40 in L/E didn't work either.   I had to replace the modified IO80211Familykext from High Sierra/Mojave to get network on Tp Link N900 card (attached).

Yes, I did the same, good news for now that we can use old kexts, but the bad news is can't modify Catalina kexts?

So, for the moment, no Bluetooth for those Broadcom-based cards that need it.

Yeah and BrcmBluetoothInjector doesn't upload firmware so it doesn't work for me.

Are there any traces of compatibility with newer NVIDIA cards?

With the new Mac Pro being modular, something will suddenly pop up ... I guess....

According to RehabMan's ReadMe for BrcmPatchRAM, if you see version 4096 in System Info, your BT will NOT work.   Your's is 4096.  It looks like it works but it is the wrong firmware version.  Mine is version 5668.  Here's what he says:

Quote

Troubleshooting

After installing BrcmPatchRAM, even though your Bluetooth icon may show up, it could be that the firmware has not been properly updated.

Verify the firmware is updated by going to System Information and check the Bluetooth firmware version number under the Bluetooth information panel.

If the version number is "4096", this means no firmware was updated for your device and it will not work properly.

Verify any errors in the system log by running the following command in the terminal:

    cat /var/log/system.log | grep -i brcm[fp]

Ensure you check only the latest boot messages, as the system.log might go back several days.

I understand, @chris1111, I'm using the BluetoothInjector too.  Without the injector, we get no BT at all, working or not.  But like RehabMan says, if your BT properties shows version 4096 like your's does, it will not work properly.

I'm getting my BT to work without injection, @Sherlocks, because I keep switching back and forth between Catalina and Mojave and injection works in Mojave.  It's no different than booting from Windows 10 to Catalina.  The firmware is already there when I restart my laptop.  The bottom line is that the BluetoothInjector is only a temporary workaround, at least for the BT chips we have.  Eventually, we will need a working injection kext.  I haven't seen RehabMan around much and he hasn't updated any of his kexts in 2019 to my knowledge.  Hopefully, he or someone with a lot more know-how than me will figure out how to do that.

Hi @macq and other guys with lapic panic,

Could you please simply try booting with boot-arg lapic_dont_panic=1, seemingly Apple provides this official argument to prevent lapic panic.

Thanks @vit9696 for pointing this out.

@PMheart

Unfortunately this boot argument does not work for me, on clover 4945 kernel panics with this only.

Still need your kernel patch to boot , using only this in config.plist without the kernel patch leads to lapic panic.

Regards

Please apply this patch first: https://github.com/acidanthera/bugtracker/issues/305#issuecomment-487549100

And then post your "real" panic log. :)

Why should that be the case? It is obvious that you should put AMD cards in there.

@PMheart Applied the patch but nothing changed

it works here with 10.14.4 patch code on 10.15.

You just need to write it right to config.plist.

I don't know whether my LAN device will work on MAC and Which version of mac but i still want to run MAC on my PC, Also i checked my CPU-GPU and it turned out that i can Run MAX High sierra but i realized that some people have trouble with Sound and Internet connection so Here's the NAME of my LAN device:

PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8136&SUBSYS_012310EC&REV_05\4&45F2A70&0&00E1 as (LAN DEVICE took the name from device manager in  windows).
also from compatibleIds i got this:
      PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8136&REV_05

Is it Supported on any version of macOS ?

I have been running macOS Mojave on my system for 3 months and everything was working pretty well.  After taking an update for clover, my entire system got wrecked, and I cannot even boot to an installation environment anymore (which I really need to do since I am starting back at square one).  I still have the old EFI folder backed up, but I know it'll only be a matter of time before Apple introduces an update that requires me to update Clover in order to work correctly.  I have tried all the available memory fixes, but none of them seem to work.  I was previously using the original osxaptiofix; so, I gave v2, and v3 a try, but to no success.  I read somewhere on the main discussion board for clover that AptioMemoryFix was no longer going to be supported and I therefor decided to skip over it (not to mention it isn't even available in newer clover installation packages).

      System specs:
      Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z390 M GAMING
      CPU Intel core i5 9600k @ stock 3.7GHz
      RAM 32GB DDR4 2667MHz
GPU AMD Radeon RX 580 with 8GB of GDDR5
      SSD Intel 660p 512GB NVME
NIC: Intel i210 10/100/1000 as it is natively supported in macOS

I have been using the iMac 19,1 SMBIOs as I built this machine to match it as close as humanly possible.  As for my UEFI settings, I did the usual:
Disabled Windows specific features and secure boot
      Enabled XHCI hand off
      Enabled Above 4G decoding
Disabled onboard NIC since it is made irrelevant by my intel i210

      --INJECT KEXTS--
      FakeSMC
      Lilu
      WhateverGreen
      AppleALC
USBInjectAll -- WITH PATCHED SSDT in /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched
Below are images of the errors I am receiving when trying to boot the macOS Mojave installer.

      with original osxaptiomemoryfix

      osxaptiofixv2

      osxaptiofixv3

Anyway, if somebody can help me figure out what's going on, that'd be greatly appreciated.  My ultimate goal is to get an install with minimal clover patches as to be better prepared when the winds of change from Apple come roaring.

p.s: I have also attached a copy of my EFI folder
