Hi everyone, I'm a long time Hackintosher and now I'm trying to switch my year-old Hackintosh laptop to OpenCore.
I have a Lifebook e744 i5 4300m 16gb ram 128gb SSD.

I've managed to get verbose but I get a KP about a watchdog.

I did a video of the verbose that I've uploaded here:  https://mega.nz/#!t8JTiAyA!kBQsfydgvlEI5cDYq7Epfi8su-peVedYO7AqUdB7bsE

And I have my configuration here: https://mega.nz/#!x5IVhQwa!uQDtRZDIrUQIsdIEJWsGEag6lqyrtBq1qUG5NIa7sW4

Currently opencore is on a usb stick because i use my hackintosh to work and i need it perfectly running.

Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance.

First, try moving the Lilu.kext to first priority loading before any other kexts in Kernel->Patches, You have your VirtualSmc.kext in front of Lilu.kext. Many other kexts depend on Lilu.kext.

when I remove my DSDT from ACPI folder then windows 10 show me error message during boot20191022_151220.thumb.jpg.0089b3deee8b853e0f9eed8dd1864799.jpg

I think that OpenCore force to use DSDT for windows  can't we boot windows without DSDT?

second when I put DSDT in ACPI folder windows 10 boot fine no error message

but I can't boot my macOS to cause of VoodooI2C or SSDTI2C.aml or _CRS METHOD patching  I don't know

hasn't OpenCore dual boot option without DSDT?

and how to get bootlog using OpenCore to find boot path for Misc/Entries

I extremely sorry for my bad English

Just use if _OSI to fix this condition,, not big problem

I have tried to boot with OpenCore on my Dell XPS 9550 and after I have selected the Boot Partition with OS X Catalina, I only get a Black Screen and nothing happens anymore. Can you please have a look and check, what I did wrong?

Thanks.

You must't Use SSDT-XOSI.aml in OpenCore,, SSDT-XOSI.aml is not compatible with Windows. I have tried it. Jus upload your OC folder. I will take a look. Btw,, i need to see your ORIGIN DSDT table. Dump it from Linux, RW Everything or Clover

Hope someone can help me out on this issue.

I have added PCI devices under DeviceProperties following a video on youtube, which showed adding the PCI devices using Headkaze's Hackintool by exporting the list and copying it into your config.plist under OC.

Though the system booted up it did take quite long 1-2 minutes compared to its boot time before I added that (which was around 30sec-1 min).

Boot times are also less than a minute under Clover on the second drive.

I am not familiar with DSDT and find it a bit too intriguing to wrap my head around it. So, is there a better or a proven way to add the PCI devices under OC?

I am not english, my english is not good. Just take a look at patched DSDT that i have given to you. Search "_OSI" in maciASL as keyword. You will understand

*Put the script into its own folder as it will create other folders*
      What is BTB?
Script file to clone and help build Clover or Opencore repos
Script will create link to itself in /usr/local/bin/bob
Script SHOULD fix up any stray bobs you may have.
Then you only need to type bob. and a parameter
      "a" for ACID repo, official
"d" for ACID repo DUET build
      "c" for CLOVER
      "e" to erase UDK Folder
      Easier typing bob than.....usual stuff
YOU WILL NEED TO cmod+x THE SCRIPT
      Enjoy

Hi, I have a small problem with my Open core Hackintosh build.
I actually got EFI from someone on the internet and tweaked it a bit so I could get up and running.
      Here is my EFI.
My laptop boots fine but while booting, it shows the apple logo for the first 5 seconds, then goes blank for 2-3minutes and then I see apple login screen.
This happens every time. I tried a few config edits but didn't work.
Can someone look into my EFI and suggest any necessary changes that can improve boot times?

      Thanks in advance

I'm transitioning from Clover to Opencore. I thought the process will be simpler but it turns out it isn't. I have created a bootable Catalina USB with Opencore but stuck at this error. I have attached my EFI and the verbose output. Anyone please provide some guidance please?

The laptop is HP Pavilion 15 Gaming:
      Intel Core i7-9750H
      16GB RAM
      256GB SSD + 1TB SSD
      PS2 Keyboard + I2C Trackpad

      Hi there,

If anyone could help I'd be very grateful, I'm trying to move from Clover to OC but have hit a brick wall for the last 2 days.

It's an ACPI table error: SB_.PCIO.XHC_RHUB.HS11, Namespace lookup failure.

      Skylake Build:
      OpenCore 0.5.9
      Mojave 10.14.6, iMac17,1
      Asus Maximus Hero VIII
      6700K

I've attached the config.plist and ACPI folder.

      EFI Drivers: OpenRuntime.efi and HfsPlus.efi
      Kexts: IntelMausi, Lilu, VirtualSMC, Whatevergreen

      Things I've tried...

      1) Clearing NVRAM (as it was previously booted by Clover)

      2) Hackintool USB Mapping: both the SSDT files and the USBPorts.kext

      3) USBInjectAll.kext (with and without SSDT files)

      4) SSDT-RHUB.aml. This seems to be directly involved, spent a long time with this but with no luck.

      I followed this guide:

      https://dortania.github.io/Getting-Started-With-ACPI/Universal/rhub-methods/manual.html

Everything is XHC in my DSDT, except these definitions at the top (line 72 and 73):

External (_SB_.PCI0.XHC_.DUAM, MethodObj)    // Warning: Unknown method, guessing 0 arguments     External (_SB_.PCI0.XHC_.RHUB.INIR, MethodObj)    // Warning: Unknown method, guessing 0 arguments
So I edited the SSDT-RHUB.dsl to this:

/* * Goal of this SSDT is to shut off the RHUB to force macOS into * manually building ports when the ACPI is screwed up */ DefinitionBlock ("", "SSDT", 2, "DRTNIA", "RhubOff", 0x00001000) { External (_SB_.PCI0.XHC.RHUB, DeviceObj) // Full pathing to RHUB, change to yours Scope (_SB.PCI0.XHC.RHUB) // Full pathing to RHUB, change to yours { Method (_STA, 0, NotSerialized) { If (_OSI ("Darwin")) { Return (Zero) // This disables the device only in macOS } Else { } } } } Which results in this AML version:
      DefinitionBlock ("", "SSDT", 2, "DRTNIA", "RhubOff", 0x00001000) { External (_SB_.PCI0.XHC_.RHUB, DeviceObj) Scope (_SB.PCI0.XHC.RHUB) { Method (_STA, 0, NotSerialized) // _STA: Status { If (_OSI ("Darwin")) { Return (Zero) } Else { } } } } But I get the same error.

I'm at a complete loss, can anyone help?

So I got some new hardware:
      Asus Z490I Gaming ITX
      NZXT H1 Case
      Intel i9-10900
      samsung 970 EVO plus NVME
      SK Hynix 1TB SSD
      32GB G.Skill 3200 C14 Ram
      MSI 5700 XT Evoke

So I got windows installed and wanted to install macOS using opencore. I had no luck getting past the [EB|#LOG:EXITBS:START] error and decided to use someone else's EFI who had the same motherboard minus the CPU and GPU (i7-10700k and Radeon VII). I went ahead with that EFI and voila got it to install and got past the error I had. The issue was after the install there is a reboot and that's where it hangs and give me an error log that I attached. Tried a few more things to see what I could do but was stuck on that error log every single time. Decided to try again today and now I can't get past the original error log. I've looked at the dortania guide for that error and tried everything it suggested but still won't get past the error. Not sure what else to do but to try Clover maybe. Anyone have any suggestions? I've attached my EFI as well. Thanks in advance.
