sandokan71 Posted October 12, 2018 Share Posted October 12, 2018 I just removed old GTX 650Ti which was working fine with Mojave and installed a new Asus RX 570 4G Problem is that, after the initial boot with apple logo, the screen remains black, with some flashing! In CLOVER/kexts/Other I am already using latest versions of Lilu and Whatevergreen patches... unfortunately nothing has changed! Maybe I have to use a different connector? I always use DVI port, do I need to buy an HDMI or DP cable? sandokan71 Posted October 12, 2018 Author Share Posted October 12, 2018 SOLVED! This Card is working OOB without any strange boot option (no RadeonDeInit) or patch (no Lilu, no Whatevergreen)!! It also supports Metal basic features with full acceleration. Only reason why I switched to Radeon RX570 is that my 650Ti has only 1GB which is not enough for most of recent games. As for HDMI output, I never used it until yesterday. DVI output with 650 Ti was great and fully working, I have no idea about HDMI output. With newer RX570 I'm forced to use HDMI which looks nice, no issues so far.
