Okay, well I just searched for "Bluetooth Hackintosh", and found that item because a reviewer has mentioned using it on a Hackintosh. Do you mean if I find one with a Broadcom chip, it will work for sure or are there specific models?

EDIT: what about this guy? https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B007MKMJGO/

Yes that one should be fine.

Cool thanks! It's labeled as a 20702A3, not 20702. Is that a big difference? Also, the "continuity activation tool" that I'll probably need to use (does it work on Mojave? no updates for 2 years..) mentions the 20702A3, so I think that should be safe.

hi,

i have a T8E and T9E

both work OOB without any action,

however,

on wake from sleep WiFi can be very slow, the fix for this is AirportBcrmFixkup.kext and FixAirport tick in clover config

I don’t think I have this issue but I also don’t use standby so often :-)

I’ll check it later, thanks for the hint!

Do you have AirDrop / if yes what did you use to get it running?

hey,

sorry, i dont use AirDrop so cant comment.

the only thing that doesnt work is WOL even thought in properties it says its supported, but also tried T8E and T9E in Mac Pro 3.1 and WOL didnt work and in Mac Pro didnt say its supported (strange).

one more issue with these cards is when 'wake for network access' is enabled on T9E the computer will not go to sleep when streaming plex from it but with T8E it will

What is WOL? Wake on LAN? I don't need that.. :D (What do people use it for? Remote access?)

Also, in my case internet speeds seem to be the same even after waking the computer from sleep mode ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

hi,

AirportBrcmFixup has several methods of install,

i used the first one:

Clover Airport Fix + AirportBrcmFixup

and it worked fine from there on. thus i havent tried the others,

kext in EFI/Clover/kexts/other

more info: https://github.com/acidanthera/AirportBrcmFixup
